Terms of Service

1. Who May Use Wooster Prep

You must be at least 13 years old to register for or use Wooster Prep. Students between 13 and 17 may use the service only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

You agree that the information you provide is accurate and that you have authority to use the service under these Terms.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Accounts are personal and may not be shared, resold, transferred, or used by more than one person.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, misuse the service, or create security or abuse concerns.

3. The Service

Wooster Prep provides SAT diagnostic, reporting, personalized concept ranking, instructional resources, mastery practice, flashcards, concept review decks, and full-length practice exams. Specific features, access periods, and content may evolve as the SAT and our product improve.

Practice exams, mastery questions, reports, score projections, and study recommendations are educational tools designed to help you prioritize study. They are not official SAT results.

4. Purchases, Pricing, and Access

Pricing and access terms are shown at checkout, enrollment confirmation, or the relevant purchase screen. During beta or promotional periods, we may provide complimentary access to selected users or cohorts.

Unless a complimentary or promotional offer applies, current full access may be offered at $249.99 for 2 months of access. We may change prices prospectively, but the terms shown to you when you enroll or purchase apply to that transaction.

When paid checkout is enabled, payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. Applicable taxes may be added where required by law.

5. Refunds and Cancellation

Refund and cancellation rules will be shown at purchase where paid checkout applies. If a score-fit guarantee or refund window is offered, it applies only according to the terms displayed for that offer.

We may decline refunds in cases of suspected fraud, abuse, account sharing, or violation of these Terms.

6. License to Use the Service

Subject to these Terms and any applicable payment, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use Wooster Prep for your own SAT preparation only.

All rights not expressly granted are reserved by Wooster Prep.

7. Intellectual Property

Wooster Prep and its licensors own the service and its content, including diagnostic and report formats, concept-ranking methodology, questions, explanations, videos, notes, PDFs, software, text, graphics, and the Wooster Prep name and logo.

You may not copy, distribute, resell, publicly display, sublicense, scrape, bulk-download, reverse engineer, or otherwise exploit Wooster Prep content except as expressly permitted for your personal study.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to interfere with security, rate limits, watermarks, signed URLs, or access controls; use bots or scripts to harvest content; share account access; upload malware; disrupt the service; attempt unauthorized access; or use Wooster Prep for any unlawful purpose.

You also agree not to use the service to cheat on, or violate the rules of, any actual examination.

9. Third-Party Services and Trademarks

SAT, PSAT/NMSQT, Bluebook, and related marks are trademarks of the College Board. Wooster Prep is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by the College Board or any other testing organization.

The service may link to or use third-party services for hosting, payments, email, analytics, security, and related operations. Those services are governed by their own terms and policies.

10. Beta and Changing Features

We may add, change, suspend, or remove features and content at any time, including the concept catalog, question bank, practice tests, reports, and scoring methodology, as the SAT evolves and Wooster Prep improves.

If you have paid for access, we will not materially reduce core paid features during your access period without offering a reasonable alternative or refund where required by law.

11. Communications

By creating an account, you consent to receive transactional communications such as verification codes, receipts, account notices, study notifications, and product-related service messages. Marketing messages are optional where required by law.

12. Educational Disclaimer and No Score Guarantee

Wooster Prep does not guarantee any SAT score, score improvement, percentile, college admission, scholarship, or other outcome. Score-uplift estimates, projected scores, and concept rankings are informational predictions based on your inputs and our methodology; they are not promises or guarantees.

Results depend on many factors outside our control, including your effort, prior preparation, time before test day, individual circumstances, and test-day conditions. Wooster Prep is a study aid and does not provide professional tutoring, admissions, psychological, medical, or other expert advice.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, and non-infringement.

We work to keep content accurate and current, but we do not warrant that all content is error-free, complete, uninterrupted, secure, or up to date.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wooster Prep and its personnel will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, results, opportunities, scholarships, admissions, or profits arising from or relating to the service.

Our total aggregate liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the fees you paid Wooster Prep for the service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Where you paid nothing, our aggregate liability will not exceed USD $50. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

15. Indemnification

You, and where applicable your parent or guardian, agree to indemnify and hold harmless Wooster Prep and its personnel from claims, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

16. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, create risk for other users, or if we discontinue the service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

17. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction of Wooster Prep's principal place of business, unless consumer-protection law in your location requires otherwise. Disputes should first be raised with us so we can try to resolve them informally.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Revised Terms become effective when posted with an updated effective date. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
